Turkstra Lumber - Dunnville

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Small, but have a good selection of supplies. Always helpful.

Needed some deck boards to finish up a project. When I arrived the price was slightly less then quoted and not much more then big box, home depot. Glad to get it locally and appreciated the help at counter and in yard.

My go to place for not overly large quantities of lumber and such. Very helpful and courteous staff from sales to loading. Very willing to help and work with you. They do charge for delivery but depending on purchase amount they will work with you if you are not in a hurry. If purchasing more than $5000 you may want to shop around.

I needed simple 20 minute fire rated interior doors and they didn't have them in stock (neither did Home Hardware in Dunnville) and to order in would have been twice the price. Had to go back to Stoney Creek Confederation dr. Home Depot to get the doors. However, their roofing steel and window prices were better than Home Hardware's 5 years ago. Would have to double check today. HH is more competitive now. But Turkstra is a quality store that I would go back to to compare prices. Staff is usually pretty good.

I've lived in Dunnville for 10 years and Turkstra Lumber is a class business. The guys know what they're talking about behind the desk, they're really helpful in the yard, they have just enough stuff on the shelves that you could get what you need for most jobs. And their delivery guys are really helpful. I had to make this review because of the fool who put them down as two stars.
