  I started working at Chapel Heights for the Dietary team , the first day they open their doors. I have had nothing but the most amazing time working there. Chapel Heights made me feel like family. And Chef Murray is the best manager I have ever had. Makes work fun, and has the best personality, calm and just amazing to his staff and everyone. He is always there for you if you need to switch shift, cancel one or whatever may be. Even sticks up for you. I have to say I would not be the server I am today if it was not for him. The only reason I left was because I moved out of the province. I'm 100% sure I would have been at chapel heights forever.

  Four months ago we were faced with the difficult decision to either move our family member, who has Alzheimer’s , to a new assisted living residence or leave her where she was not happy and we were concerned with the care. We were all too aware of the dangers of moving someone with Alzheimer’s, especially during a pandemic ,when many Seniors were already disoriented and depressed.
  Despite the issues we knew she and we may face we decided to move her to Chapel Heights. We are so very thankful we did. Chapel Heights staff made the move as easy as possible. From day one, staff went way beyond our expectations to make our sister feel welcome and at home. She never experienced the expected decline and, in fact, has thrived under their care. She is treated with respect. Memory exercise, inclusion and the focus of staff on the importance of socialization even during lockdown has made such a noticeable difference. The activities on her floor are targeted to dementia residents. The residence activities are varied and are geared to both group and designed to individual needs. Activities include many things such as exercises, crafts, music, celebrations, walks etc. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. Visits with family through zoom and a visitation room are
  encouraged and welcomed.
  We are so happy we made the decision we did. Our sister is finally happy and thriving.
  On behalf of our family a huge Thank You to all the dedicated and caring Chapel Heights staff.

  Chapel Heights is a beautiful retirement community with a staff of caring professionals that look out for the best interest of each resident. I have worked closely with the planning coordinator Kim Cairnes. Her professionalism, knowledge and expertise will exceed your expectations when you are considering Chapel Heights.

  I've been looking for a retirement home for my aunt in the Niagara region. I visited 5 homes in the area and Chapel Heights is head & shoulders above the rest. Their level of care for the residents is spectacular. The grounds and building are a perfect fit for my aunt and its central location make it a perfect fit for the family. The most important and deciding factor in our decision was the personal attention we received from the staff at Chapel Heights. Connie provided us with all the information we needed to make this important decision for my aunt. Not only is Connie a nurse but she's in charge of running the entire facility. She still found the time to call me and answer all my concerns. Connie runs the place like it's her family residing there and that's very important to be able to trust someone with your loved one. Thanks Connie for making this difficult decision easy 4 us 👍👍
