Humberstone Manor Supportive Living Residence

My son is a resident at Humberstone Manor Supportive Living in Port Colborne.The current management and staff are incredible.There is no doubt that they care about the residents and have only the best interest of them in mind.It certainly takes a load off mind that he is in such good hands.To the staff at Humberstone...great job.To Cindy and Shama....that you very much for making this all possible.

"I joined SupportiveLiving.ca as as staff member almost two years ago in May 2018 when I was training to become a nurse. I was given a live-in position at Humberstone Manor Supportive Living Residence which was a great help to complete mystudies.
My job is to help the residents adjust in their daily lives and my time spent with them allows me to learn how to assist them. If I need support, the SupportiveLiving management team is there to help resolve any issues. I have grown personally and professionally and I am proud to be working for a company that is helping the community."

I started working at White House Lodge Supportive Living residence two months ago and what can I say? I have worked in many group homes but found SupportiveLiving.ca to be a large, welcoming company, offering so much opportunity to grow.

My decision to leave the other group homes and work at SupportiveLiving.ca was solely based on the amazing support I received from their management team. It is a breath of fresh air to know my voice is heard and they are committed to my success.

While my home base is White House Lodge, I was given the opportunity to travel to other Supportive Living residences. It gives me the chance to work with a diverse set of residents, with various diagnoses, enabling me to learn different ways of how to help them. I am also delighted to work with a new community in direct coordination with churches or food banks.

This past summer I volunteered at Humberstone Manor Supportive Living Residence by looking after the residents. These are an amazing group of people who really appreciated my company and help. And the time spent with them, I will never forget! Thank you to the CEO, Vishal Chityal, for being a great mentor and giving me the chance to give back!
