(October 21, 2022, 1:07 pm)This place is super cool. I love how the rooms all have themes. We stayed in the Polynesian room with is a suite. It's super cute! They have a band playing in their restaurant on most nights. The food is amazing too! We'll definitely be back!!

(October 11, 2022, 10:01 pm)The different room themes are out of this world. Created with so much love for the details. And all the rooms have a fireplace...incredible. Wifi worked great for me and the attached restaurant has really delicious, inexpensive food. No TVs but I wanted to chill anyways. Actually it was nice not to watch tv and read a good book. The staff is very helpful and most are bilingual. I will be back for sure.

RESTAURANT
They say on their menu that everything is made from scratch and they need time to make each dish. So get a drink or a coffee and happily wait! And yes, there's wifi. I've eaten brunch (Salmon Scramble) and dinner and every meal has been spectacular. Same goes for all my guests.
EVENTS
I had a very nice event there, we love the private staircase that leads down to the beach! It's kind of a private beach only for people staying there or nearby. Muy tranquilo.
HOTEL
We booked two adjoining rooms with shared balconies, it was amazing. Just a wonderful stay. Beautiful views. And I hate to say this but we accidentally left our door unlocked, nothing was taken!
Lourdes the manager was so wonderful with her hospitality, as well as Luis the security guard and La Ranita the mariachi man. It was a memorable weekend and Poco Cielo was the perfect location. -

(March 29, 2022, 12:15 am)Considering it's a different country, we kept our expectations reasonable. The staff is great, Lourdes and Gabriel were amazingly accommodating. Our rooms were great conversation starters. Our group had the Polynesian room, the Mexican room and the African room. The views were relaxing. There is evening security and they do close the gates so outside patrons can't walk in. The restaurant staff is of the older age, so a little patients and allow yourself to be on vacation time, the wait isn't horrible. Food is hot and made to order. Drinks are strong and help forget how long the food takes. The location is highway accessible. Walking distance to the Beach, other restaurants, convince store and the Castillo de Diablo.... talk about random.
We were about a 30 min drive to the frida Kahlo winery and if you want some drinks and dancing hit up splash! About a 7 min drive. Say hi to Sergio the conga player if the live band is there.
For what you paid for the hotel worth it for a relaxing weekend!!!! Puerto nuevo is an easy drive too for great seafood! Sandra's was clean and the food was delicious!!!!!!!
We will definitely be going back.
