Mata Ashta Restaurant Sushi Tapas and Cantina

Absolutely love the food here! I can still remember the taste of the quesadillas. So savory! The bartenders are very friendly and if you hang out for a while you can get to know them. If you ask for a specific way to make your drinks the young bartender serving us was happy to do it.

It's a small community of workers that all know eachother among the different restaurants in the area. We saw some workers from Cafe Conrado come have a few drinks after work, and they were smiling and laughing with the bartenders and other workers at Mata Ashta. It was great! The view of the ocean is so lovely. When it gets dark they start the live music and it was very good! Definitely should check this place out.

Great place love it. They have indoor and outdoor, plenty of room for many people. The food was great but it took almost 1 hour to get it. Don't know why because there were very few people there. Also the parking is terrible. Going this Sunday for the Blues for Food thing if I can find a place to park????

Great place with magnificent ocean view. Excellent food n drinks. Very friendly owners n staff..😍😍😍 I am glad the are working on the outside and recently expanded the inside, and that windows can be open for air circulation.🤩🤩🤩 Live músic events are a plus!🎸🎼 A bit of keeping it nice n tidy could be done. 😉
