Reggae Rita's

I was determined to visit Reggae Rita's on our trip to Amsterdam from the UK - I was not disappointed! The food was top quality. I had the curry goat meal and my partner had the brown stew chicken meal - authentic jamaican cooking at its finest. Rita and her son are just lovely people. The whole experience was fantastic.
The cocktails at the Labyrinth bar were delicious too! Great atmosphere, reminds me of a jazz club.

Highly recommend that if you are in Amsterdam you visit. Hidden gem! Thank you.

We had jerk chicken and oxtail with rice and peas. Both were amazing, super flavourful, tender oxtail and really really filling. A good sized plate of food for the price - which is hard to come by in this city.

Really friendly service and great cocktails (and they have Red Stripe!).

So happy to have found this Jamaican restaurant in Netherlands! Food is superb, prepared by lovely staff, place itself is quite cozy. Oxtail is highly recommended!

Not sure why this place gets negative reviews, food was delicious and service is great. Yes, it’s a bit hard to find, it sits above an Indian restaurant and you have to go through the Indian restaurant and take the stairs. There’s no sign outside but if you spot the Jamaican flags in the first floor window, that’s them.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night and they were sold out of a few small dishes but most of the mains were available. The jerk chicken and goat curry were delicious.

The place is small but clean and service was very fast, friendly and attentive.

This drinks and food are standout. We went for brunch and got the jerk chicken and waffles. We wanted to order more food but most items were sold out on Saturday at noon. Service was slow but the food and drink options made up for the long wait. A bit on the pricey side but I guess the food speaks for itself. Would go back
