  This company (Southfields Veterinary Specialists at Cranes Point) which is part of the Linnaeus / Mars series of companies preaches that it looks after it's Associates and treated everyone well - now for the reality.
  Management at site are awful, they put more and more on you, often ill informed, ill trained, make incorrect decisions, rule with an iron fist. Their only driving force is not patient care and welfare but money. You have to beg, borrow and steal to get the resources you need.
  Other staff - what I will say though is staff at ground level are excellent, many of them care very passionately about their roles and the work they do but with both hands tied behind you back it's very hard and on most it has taken it's toll. The building is very new but already has quite a few problems mainly because it has been built on the cheap, now there is a surprise. Management treat staff poorly.
  Ignore all the corporate spin and do not use them or join up with them, as a member of staff, if you do then get as much as you can out of them and then move on as that is what most people do. Over the past year they have lost a lot of staff, many positions have been left unfilled for a long time as they cannot get people to fill or stay long enough. If they could keep their staff they wouldn't have to do this in the first place. Improvement in conditions and work life badly needed.

  Visited last week and was really impressed with the treatment received. I was reassured throughout and now have a very happy puppy at home!

  Highly Recommend Richard at Southfields. I can not praise Dr Richard Elders enough he went above and beyond any vet we have ever met. We will always be grateful for the extra year we had with our daisy.

  I cannot praise the team enough. I changed my vets recently and was referred to Southfields. You made me feel at ease and took time with me and the family to make the right decision. We do miss Sway, but you made the final treatments so much more bearable and gave him a good quality of life!

  What wonderful people. I can't praise them all highly enough. They saved the life of my German shepherd Dexter and the last 2 weeks since the operation have been such a joy to see him so well In himself. These people work so hard and are so devoted. Thank you so much
