(December 16, 2018, 3:52 am)We had a Family Christmas lunch, and the staff were excellent, polite, helpful & accommodating. Dogs welcome in the pub / bar area! Yey! The food was good too, the roast turkey went down well with the meat eaters, and the veggie & vegan options I chose were more than ok. Ambiance was excellent, could easily hold a conversation without straining to hear. Would recommend.

(December 6, 2018, 6:24 pm)A very pleasant evening in this "gastropub". Music was not too loud. The food was very good, as was the service. Prices reasonable. I enjoyed nearly every bite of my meal (a fillet steak) with the exception of the lukewarm, and slightly droopy "double-cooked" chips. Would happily recommend and I also will be back.

(August 26, 2018, 10:19 am)We went down for a Sunday roast, and the food was absolutely lovely! The lamb was perfectly cooked, with plenty of tasty veggies, and the kids portions are very generously sized.
Great puds too and the beer was fresh. All round, a fantastic meal.
The pub itself is a lovely building, very nicely decorated inside, plenty of old wood beams and that kind of thing. Lots of friendly staff to get everything you need.
All round, a great experience and highly recommended.
