The Blizz is a mob added by the Thermal Foundation mod. A cold and icy looking water Elemental that spawns in cold or snowy biomes on stone blocks at a light level of less than 8. It usually spawns in a pack of up to 4 called a Blizzard. It spawns about 10 times less often as a pack of other hostile mobs .

The Blizz is a hostile mob added by Thermal Foundation. It is an ice elemental that uses a Blaze reskin. When idle, a Blizz will wander on the ground. When a player is noticed, they will start ascending and begin to attack. They shoot icy bolts that can apply a Slowness effect in addition to damage.
Blizz spent several years with Slam's crew before the old scrapper made the mistake of selling his services to Hoth's White Maw pirates. Years of toil under the menacing watch of the White Maw would soon deprive the salvagers of reasons to smile-but first, Slam gave his small friend the nickname...
