  This is an amazing meal. After trying a number of pub's in the local area for a Sunday dinner and being let down, this place was amazing. Good food and good beer. A nice setting for a sit down with family and friends. This is becoming my regular.

  The Wattenden Arms was absolutely outstanding looking after a small wake on the 11th of October. Tracey 1 and Tracey 2, Rob and everyone else went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable and even opened up much earlier than usual to accommodate our early arrival. The buffet (I believe we went for the bronze option) was freshly prepared, perfectly presented, delicious and worthy of a five star rating indeed! We thank you, you were all excellent, exactly what we needed to lift our spirits saying goodbye to our Dad.

  Visited today. The £6 lunch menu is brilliant. 2 main meals, 2 drinks and a dessert all for £20! Nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

  Allows dogs which is great, lovely food, could have been slightly better as veg was very hard but I didn't mind too much. Car park valuable. Service was very good. Facilities were very good

  "The Watt" has gone through many changes over the past 11 years we've been going there, and not all of them for the better!
  
  Last night, Thursday, was grill night. The steaks were cooked as requested, the portions were generous and hot and we were even offered three types of mustard in ramekins. The chicken and bacon salad was also the best we've seen.
