  Read the reviews so we expected a fabulous meal. Staff were friendly on arrival. Good strong menu, well priced. My husband ordered the 2 course meal for £16.95. His soup was a little salty but the main course was very good. I ordered the chicken burger which was excellent. Definitely worth a second try.

  Nice pub! Just been here for a Christmas get together and found the food excellent, good size portions and prompt service. Would definitely recommend.

  2 for 1 steak deal on Tuesdays (ribeye and sirloin only) friendly staff. Good size portion. There's a car park. Not too busy on Tuesday night.

  Not the most salubrious of places - could do with a bit of TLC decor wise. However Sunday roast was good. Good portions, came quickly and the beef was so tender - perfectly cooked. Sticky toffee pudding - lovely. Not overly sweet but only comes with one scoop of ice cream when it needs two. I asked for another which was brought swiftly by a smiling young waitress.
  Go again? Certainly !
