Excellent service for a repair to my Canon g5x. There are no camera repairers any longer in the area where I live (Bournemouth). I was reluctant to send it to Canon because they're ridiculously expensive. I found 1st Aid Repairs via a Google search. The whole process was very straightforward , excellent communication and they kept to their initial estimate. I will certainly use them again if the need arises and recommend them to friends.
Brilliant from start to finish. Originally contacted 1st Aid a few months ago to have my JVC camera fixed. Explained that I had to wait for a window when I wasn't travelling with work. When that window came, their communication, speed of fix and excellent all-round work was most appreciated. I won't be looking elsewhere for future repairs.
I used 1st aid repairs when I dropped my camera a week before a special event. The service was excellent, I was kept informed all the way through the repair. I also paid the extra for the 3 day service. I posted the camera on the Saturday before a bank holiday (which meant they received it Tuesday) and I received it back in full working order the next Friday. I can't thank them enough. Will definitely use again.
I've been really pleased with the helpful, friendly service and the speedy repair to my camera by the team at 1st Aid Repairs.
They gave me an accurate initial estimate for the work, based on my description of the problem and then they completed at a fair price. They kept me up to date with progress with the repair and returned the repaired camera to me really quickly. Everything on the camera now works as it should.
On the basis of my experience, I'd certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a fair priced repair and helpful, attentive service.
First Aid repairs is first class service. In an industry like video production, particularly now with footage is required for upload the next day, having the equipment fixed extra fast is a tremendous bonus. Repaired our Sony FS5 in double quick time and at a reasonable cost. well done.
