  We stayed here for 3 nights whilst working locally and couldn't have had a better experience. The family were accommodating, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was cosy and clean and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Thank you so much Ailsa.

  Just spent a fantastic few days at Great Harwoods Farm – our stay was first class on all fronts.
  The environment both internal and external was just beautiful – indeed the house is fabulous, including our lovely room with all the finishing touches. However, it was Ailsa who really made our stay memorable – she was so accommodating, and really went the extra mile for us.
  Our breakfasts were tasty and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble for Alisa – she was lovely, lovely host and we will remember our stay at Harwoods Farm with such fond memories.

  We had to stay at Great Harwoods Farm very unexpectedly, as my daughter had had an accident and was in the local hospital. We were made very welcome, considering Ailsa only had an hours notice before we arrived. We stayed there for three days, our room was lovely and the breakfasts wonderful and plentiful, its a beautiful house in a wonderful setting with wonderful hosts. We would definitely go back.

  Amazing experience. Very hospitable and clean. Beautiful bathroom with a great shower. Nice English breakfast served hot with a lot of love. My mother loved it and my brother asked me how I found it! Majestic horses in the neighbourhood and wide open lawns made for a picturesque setting. A little English and Kiwi paradise!

  Just returned from a weekend stay at Great Harwoods Farm Bed and Breakfast. I was made to feel instantly at ease by such warm but gentle welcome . My En suite room was beautiful and very comfortable, and the home made scone and cream on arrival was most welcome. Breakfast in the Conservatory was the best way to start the day, looking out at the beautiful garden and countryside. The breakfast choice was wide , but I would recommend anyone keeps a space for some home made raspberry jam. Ailsa was also very accommodating about the time I wished to eat.
  I would warmly recommend Great Harwoods Farm to anyone , I have no doubt you will be made to feel very welcome and well cared for during your stay.
