  The most stupid parking arrangements I have ever seen. Free parking and loads of expensive to maintain electronic parking enforcement meters to take donation in cash only so need a reliable person employed to empty them. Madness. The actual park has a major dual carriageway carved through it so why the funding from that has not been enough to last many years is beyond me. Cross the bridge and leave the noises of roads and you find why this is so popular with dog walkers. Well paved paths provide a good solid core of walk ways suitable for wheelchairs and push chairs alike. Take a wander on the smaller paths through ancient woods by streams and over bridges and the experience is as challenging as you like with logs and animal tracks to negotiate. Where permitted even mud and streams with great miss and fungi huge brackets and horse shoe types abound. Lakes add atmosphere and this is a brilliant escape. Please offer a modern donation option or have cafe open all day.

  Lovely walks here. Even a BBQ area with plenty of bins for recycling, ash disposal and dog waste! (There are dog bins all along the walls). Clear signs about where dogs are allowed (most of the park) and where they could be off lead (most of the park). Lots of wildlife too. Even spotted some deer!

  Great for dog walking, poo bins well located. You can either follow the path round the lake or take yourself off into the woods. Good access all round, my mobility scooter gets most places. Countryside centre, interpretation, sculpture trail, toilets by car park. Beautiful lake. Love it, an asset for local residents.

  Great place for a walk lots of different routes to suit all abilities. Great for birds in the woodlands and meadows and heartland although the lakes are lacking variety.
  Great all seasons toilets available. Park us open 24hrs on foot but car park closes. Visitor centre isn't open all the time and could do with updating as it's more classroom based. But when it is open nice to see the birds. Don't stick to tbe main route and it feels like your away from it all
