Dr. Lee Schmitt

Dr. Lee Schmitt performed my surgery November of 2017. I would never trust anyone else but him or his partner for this surgery. I highly recommend him. Great experience with him and the staff at St. Vincents East Hospital.

Dr Schmitt did my gastric sleeve surgery and I couldn’t have been more pleased with him and his MA Tracy. All my questions were answered and everything went smoothly. My only negative comment is that a few of his office staff could use some customer service classes.

Dr. Schmitt is a thorough and passionate doctor. He performed my gastric sleeve in July of 2014. Since then I have lost almost 80 lbs and kept it off -give or take 5-10 lbs here and there; after all it’s not a miracle, it’s a tool. I recently had another surgery to remove an ovarian cyst and my doctor remarked how good my sleeve looked and that she noticed almost no scar tissue. He gave me such a great advantage in my battle against weight. So much so that my success convinced my father to get the same procedure a few years later! I can’t say enough great things about him and his staff. Highly recommend!

What an incredible group of people! From the moment you watch the video and then speak to a patient advocate, everyone goes above and beyond to make it the the process as simple and easy to understand so that you may make the best choices for your own health. I have been blessed to have Dr. Schmitt as my surgeon and he has been wonderful. When he is with you in consults he is absolutely "present" focused on addressing and answering any and all question or concerns. He is an honest and forthcoming professional who I highly recommend. I will be sleeved on December 13, 2016 and I have complete faith in the success of not only the surgeon and support staff, but of my own success as they have provided me with the tools to succeed.
