My children have been patients of Alabama Pediatrics going on 8 years, they are always so nice and accommodating whether it’s a work in for a sick visit, a well visit, or just a simple phone call to ask a nurse a question. We have seen all of the doctors in this practice since Dr. Levin retired.. Dr. Pelham, Dr. Stansell, Dr. Amy, and Dr. O’Neil are ALL fantastic. Great practice, great front desk staff, and awesome nurses as well!
We are new to town. Alabama Pediatrics came highly recommended. We made an appointment for my son to be seen (they squeezed us in last minute, such a plus). The wait time was longer but I can honestly say that the time that Dr. Pelham spent with my children and I makes up for the longer wait time. He took the time to get to know not only our family history but our family as a whole. He allowed me to have the floor and ask my list of questions and walked me through different thought processes. He has impeccable bedside manner. One can tell that he truly loves his job. We will pack a bag of toys, and a couple snacks for our next appointment because the amazing care far outweighs the wait time. Thankful to have found this clinic for our family!
Dr Pelham is the best pediatrician we've ever seen. We drive over an hour to see him from Northport and the level of care we receive is unmatched. My anxiety of taking my little one to the doctor is nonexistent with Dr Pelham. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I cannot recommend him enough.
Our rating goes directly to Dr. Pelham. From delivery to now with a 6 month old, he has always been very patient and informative when we have any questions or concerns. No judgment for “silly” questions and excellent with bedside manner. He takes initiative with issues, but is not more aggressive than necessary. He gives thorough explanations and encourages us to come with any concerns. The nurses have also been excellent, particularly Sherry.
We can’t say the same about front desk, and have had some issues with other doctors’ approaches, but we stay and drive over 30 minutes for Dr. Pelham.
Dr. Stansell has been wonderful. Our son has severe nonverbal autism and they perfectly accommodate us! They’re so wonderful and I definitely recommend him and his team! They’re fast and efficient! ❤️
