Currently work here. Staff are kind to eachother and residents. Lots of activities for the residents, selection of food is better than Ive seen at other places and residents seem very happy here. I enjoy being a part of the team

I cannot say enough to express how happy I am with Gencare at Ruston Point. We recently moved my parents from their home into a Gencare apartment. One parent was excited and ready for the transition, but the other was less than thrilled. Unfortunate, it was the resistant one whose health and aging was the reason the move was necessary. Nallely was warm and welcoming. She took the time to answer each question and eased the stress by approaching challenges with solutions. She validated emotions and helped us to know we were not alone and that our feelings were normal. And then there is Patty! She is upbeat, positive and ready to help connect you (at your pace) and get you settled in. The building is beautiful and very clean without feeling ‘hospital sterile.’ You’ll find it hard to tell if you are in a retirement community or in one of the upscale condo buildings that surround it. The care staff don’t wear scrubs, they wear normal clothing, so you don’t feel like you’re in a medical facility. My Dad is a tough nut to crack yet after only a few days, (hours really) he was feeling happy, cared for, seen and at HOME at Gencare. In conclusion, the Gencare facility is top notch, but it’s the staff that make it stand out as exceptional.

Good place

I waited to write a review to make sure the welcoming atmosphere we received here was going to last and it certainly has. Erica Hack and Nallely Gonzalez have remained exceptional in every way and the friendliness of every staff member we have met demonstrates not only what a great place this is for our mom but also to work. My mom told me the other day, "they just keep trying to make us happy here."

My company does business with them and Empire is always professional...

Full disclosure: I work here. Being next to the water and all of the fun shops is a delight. I love how the residents here are focused on health and wellness. Residents get out and walk along the waterfront every day. There is a gym and a free full time personal trainer/fitness director (me!). There are activities all day long. Even though COVID is happening, it is safe here.
The Mission Statement is recited every day by staff. Residents and staff care about each other and staff makes the extra effort to assure living at Gencare Pt Ruston is a first class experience.
Remember the story of Eloise living at the NYC Plaza? Working and living here feels just as fun and youthful. I am very lucky.

My first time to visit this business service was great worker were very helpful and very nice I give empire pipe and supply a 5 star and as far as the Google maps great work took me right to the door I also give them a 5 star because it was over 100 miles from my house thanks for all your help
