Brett is an amazing guitar teacher and an even better guy. After just 2 sessions my playing has already gotten a lot better. I would recommend BGA to anyone looking to learn guitar.

Brett is one of the best percussionist I've ever met. He offers an experience that is second to none. He can expand ones ability to levels they never thought possible. There's no one I trust more to teach me or my children about music. If you're a beginner or a seasoned musician he's your man.

Brett Byars has lifelong percussion experience. His experience is like none other in Birmingham and his character speaks for itself! There is no one else I would rather use for percussion lessons.

In my opinion, you could not find a better percussion and drum instructor than Brett Byars. As a graduate of the Berklee School of Music and a Nashville session/touring musician, his credentials speak for themselves. I've seen Brett teach and interact with his students and he definitely has a gift for conveying his knowledge to them. He is also just a great person! He has a very positive and fun outlook on life and that shines through in his teaching style. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars!
