I just had a wonderful phone exchange with a team member at OrthoExpress. There was an issue with my bill and it was handled quickly, professionally, and with great courtesy. My in-office visit experience in July in the midst of the pandemic was wonderful and safe, so I was very glad to have a positive experience with the business managers as well. Great place!!

I have had a truly amazing experience with OrthoExpress in Chelsea Al.My mother has been going to a orthopedic dr for 10 years after a horrible car wreck that almost took her life.About 3 months ago her pain became worse in her back and legs.We begged the orthopedic dr to give our mother a MRI.Every single time he would say it’s just not necessarily because all that was wrong was she had arthritis and Bursitis. My mother has had X-Rays through the orthopedic dr But they never said a word about anything being wrong and we know this cancer had to be sitting their growing and all her orthopedic dr would do was give her these horrible big shots that never worked.after the pain got so severe where she could hardly walk or get out of bed we made the decision to go to OrthoExpress and get get evaluated. When we got their we were treated with care and kindness and were taken to the back and greeted by Dr Jane Holston. She took great care of my mother and we could tell we were at the right place.Dr Holston got some x-rays and ordered a MRI but After the X-Rays Dr Holston came in to talk to us and we could tell she had Great Concern. My mother was Basically told that their concern was it could be Cancer. We were told to go to her primary Dr were she could follow up with him and get some more testing.Dr Holston did not jump the gun and tell us anything that was 100 Percent. She made sure that whatever she said was going to be the absolute truth before telling my mother anything worse. Through moms primary doctor and more blood test,REULTS Were scary and horrible. As the doctor told us you have cancer on your L4 vertebrae,it was like they were speaking in slow motion we now know that mom has non small cell lung cancer stage 4 that has spread to her lymph nodes and Her L4 ,adrenal gland,liver..We have now started radiation treatments for 10 treatments everyday except on weekend. Then we start chemo. If it were not for Doctor Holston from OrthoExpress,GOD only knows where we would be today. She basically found the problem before her own Orthopedic Dr that she has used For 10 years. She really saved my mother’s life because eventually with it going undetected it would have cost her life a lot quicker.Although we don’t know what the future holds for mom we do know that now she has a fighting chance to have more days on this earth. Are we mad at the Orthopedic Dr? YES.I have so many questions for him but the main question for him if I ever get the chance is “WHY?”.Please keep my mother in your prayers as she/us try to fight this battle that should have been caught maybe years ago before the spread.I also want to add that my mother has not smoked in over 35 years so a note to all,Please try and put them down before this same thing might happen in someone’s life that you may know. THANK YOU ORTHOEXPRESS and DR JANE HOLSTON for your outstanding treatment and care and for the Love you showed my mother.GOD bless you all!!

There are a lot of mixed reviews, but my personal experience was very positive. I signed in and only waited a few moments before being taken back for x-rays. After the x-rays, I was only in the exam room for a couple of minutes before Caleb came in to examine my knee. He was very thorough, spent time to listen and offer feedback. He’s very knowledgeable and offered his opinion from the x-rays, physical exam and then recommended I have an MRI. He called Sonos to schedule it and they called me within minutes of leaving the office to schedule an appointment the very next day. After having the MRI, Caleb called me shortly thereafter to discuss the results. As someone that had multiple orthopedic related surgeries over the years and treated by multiple physicians, I’m not sure there was anything that could be done to make my experience more positive. I’d happily use OrthoExpress again and would certainly recommend Caleb to anyone with an immediate orthopedic need. Everyone either wore a mask or a face shield, including those participating in physical therapy exercises. It’s an urgent care facility that can set casts or splints, but cannot perform surgical procedures. Even if you went to an ER, unless it’s life threatening or very serious, they won’t admit you either and have you follow-up with a surgeon. So, I’m not sure what the expectations are for some, but the care its designed to offer, it does. If you don’t want to be attended by a nurse practitioner, then I don’t know what to tell you. In my years of being treated by physicians and nurse practitioners, I have always preferred a nurse practitioner because they are always down to earth, have good bedside manners and have always been patient to listen and allow me to ask questions. This has not always been my experience with physicians, that usually rush through an exam. Hopefully, many others will have the same experience I had and continue to use them and refer others. It’s a great service for our area that many towns and cities don’t have. Furthermore, I’d rather go here, pay a normal copay versus the bloated costs of an emergency room, where the services are often horrendous and the wait is astronomical. Thank you Caleb!

Lovely facility, friendly staff, and excellent service. My visit was during COVID-19, so everyone was masked and adhering to social distance.
