This is a beautiful little rv and cabin resort concrete pads to Stay on for the rvs over looking Smith lake shady with a Quant Lil kids park there is also a rock ledge that borders the property you can stand or sit and fish layout and just relax. The cabins are very nice and spacious. Everything there is full water electricity and sewer which is a blessing picnic tables line the property along with a nice gravel road that comes in and out
Last but not least the property owners and their family are the nicest most helpful people around we wish every place you stayed for work vacation or just an over night stay was as accommodating as this one may you enjoy
Very nice family owned campground. Perfect place for a long weekend or relaxing vacation.
Thank you Charlie Maroon
This was a MUCH needed time away. The cabin that we rented wasn't extravagant. You had to provide everything you may need from bathroom, bedding, and to the kitchen. We were fine with this.
We did have a few minor things that happened. The owner(s) were very prompt to make sure that our stay was great. Our A/C unit was froze over (our last night there) and they just had it fixed a few days prior, fortunately Charlie Jr was there within 10 minutes to fix it with a little unit to ease our stay.
There was a dog lose, turns out it was the neighbors dog, but the owners are very tentative. As soon as I messaged the owner, the son came about 5-10 minutes after that on our first night there to make sure the dog wasn't bothering us and tried to get Marley (the white creamy colored dog) to go home.
Other than these minor set backs it was a WONDERFUL stay. You have the beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding cabins are very nice. There is a little boat dock and small playground for children too. They have their own little bonfire, picnic table and grills at each station. If you need a weekend away that doesn't cost a fortune, this is a great place.
Very nice campground! Small, super quiet, clean, and off the beaten path. Lake view was great, I was able to beach my boat very close to camp, in a cove (and behind a small island) which offers protection from waves and traffic. All amenities including WiFi worked perfectly which is unusual and quite nice. Owners are super nice and extremely helpful. Highly recommend and look forward to staying here again soon.
