(June 19, 2018, 5:16 pm)The Walker County Lake is a great place for anglers of all ages to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing day of fishing whether it be on the beautiful and clean banks or covered pier in your fold out chairs, or trolling around the 163 acre lake in one of the many flat bottom boats available to rent at the main office; or launch your personal watercraft if preferred. It's an inexpensive yet great place for families to come together for a day of fishing, picnicking, nature trail walking, small functions, and yes, even small yet gorgeous weddings have taken place there.
