Gigglewood Lakeside Inn

Linda was an incredible host. My flight was cancelled, and she was happy to be flexible with moving the dates of our stay. The Birch Cove Cabin was beautifully designed and cozy during the winter, and the jetted hot tub was a great addition :) I'd love to see what the summer has in store for this place!

I woke to a stunning view of a placid lake with snow covered trees and log homes. The owners, Linda and Larry, were exceptionally accommodating in what I discovered to be the Alaskan way. The cabin homes checked all the boxes. Thoughful decor, felt like I was truely in AK, very clean, luxurious bedding, I even had a jacuzzi tub, which was a wonderful treat after a day out in the cold. My next trip back will be late summer to try out one of the larger cabins. I can't wait for my next AK adventure.

I give Gigglewood 5 stars because the hosts Linda & Larry are wonderful people, the lodging is great and the food is excellent. The loons on the lake will sing you to sleep.

It's the best. The cabins are cozy, the view of the lake is phenomenal, and the couple running the place are salt of the earth .
