If U can’t be in the neighborhood where they sell the White Castle burgers & you find yourself South of the Mason-Dixon during Thanksgiving…don’t fret, there is ALWAYS Krystal burgers & of course my hot & spicy version of White Castle Thanksgiving dressing. This location was low maintenance & I was in & out in less than 10 minutes. I could understand every word that came out of the employee’s mouth & did not have to repeat my order AND they got it right. Here’s the Southern recipe to White Castle dressing, I call it Spicy Krystal’s Thanksgiving dressing. I hope you enjoy.
10 Krystal burgers (remove the pickles)
Dice up 1 1/2 cups of celery
Add 1 1/4 tsp of ground thyme
Add 1 1/2 tsp of ground sage
Add 1 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
Add 6 diced Serrano peppers
3/4 cup of low-sodium chicken broth
Mix well with your hands & place in a baking dish
Place in oven at 325 degrees for 35 minutes
