Went with friends to try to go to Cold Beers etc., but they were overloaded, so they stepped over to Oregano's. The restaurant was pretty good, but not as good as Olive Garden. OG leads off with soup or salad to your brim. I have the pasta soup with a bread stick or two. For the entree, I have chicken parmigiana normally. I have them make it with angel hair and all meat sauce, so that's what I had at Oregano's. No soup, no salad included. Extra charge for using meat sauce. I guess they have to order it in from an external source. One item that I can heartily endorse is the garlic bread that came with the food. It's extremely good, or at least the piece on my plate was. Something that needs help is drink service. I ordered Pepsi with no ice. It took a while to arrive. Well before I ran out, I took the opportunity to ask for a refill, trying to get it in reasonable time since our waitress was not in range much. I ate enough to require a take home box. Still no Pepsi. I put the empty glass on top of the box near the closest edge of the table. Had to remind her about the refill with her inches from the empty glass. Instead of hopping to that easy (and delayed) chore, she gathered some plates from the table and took them off. I began to believe the refill wasn't coming when she finally showed up with it. We were all but done and fortunately I had a small insulated canister for the refill to go home with me. The quality of the chicken was below par, especially in comparison with Olive Garden's. Well, the other members of the group are aware of what I think of Oregano's. We won't cross it off the list, but it's not likely to be a destination any time soon, especially if Olive Garden is an option. I hope this gets the attention of Oregano's capo. Maybe they'll choose to get a little better at customer service. The waitress should have brought me the requested Pepsi AND a refill at the same time if she is too busy to bring the second one when the first one drew empty. I also had to ask for more sauce when the plates were delivered. Two tablespoons more sauce wouldn't hurt the restaurant and would have given me the correct amount for the plate. My companions seemed to be satisfied with their food. I saw that their plates had plenty of sauce on each. It makes a difference. Two of them had water to drink and got refills in a timely manner. One had iced tea and got his refill(s). I noticed that the waitress even asked him if he wanted more and brought it in a to go cup. She could have brought me another for my canister, but no more was forthcoming. I believe the price for the Pepsi was $3.39 from memory of it being mentioned by the member who had the bill. Fry's market sells their brand of cola for $1 per 2 liter bottle. I know it's not an equal comparison, but the point is that soft drinks in restaurants have skyrocketed over the last couple years. I could choose water for free but I believe a restaurant visit should entail buying a normal amount of products, including drinks. Cups are reused, so the net cost of the soft drink is a small amount of flavored syrup and some carbonation. The cost to the restaurant is dwarfed by the price charged. I'm happy to pay if the associated service is on par.

Fast & friendly place. Excellent service. Wife & I shared the chicken parmesan, (didn't care much for the sauce), but more than enough to eat. Looking forward to going back to try the pizza.

Lots of great places to dine and eat. One of my favorite spots to watch sports with friends is cold beers and cheeseburgers.
