  I have had the opportunity to work with one of the PA’s, Josi. I have walked a long road with mental health and she is the first psych medical provider who has made me feel safe, respected and every visit I live with my dignity fully intact. I feel like I’m in the drivers seat, and there’s never any pressure to do or try anything that I’m not comfortable with. She is not just compassionate/empathetic she is also a very skilled provider who is waist-deep (in the best way) in current evidence-based practice. I’m confident that the care I’m receiving is following current care guidelines - I don’t feel stuck in the 90s of being Thrown a medication and told to just trust her. Our appointments always feel like a collaborative partnership, I leave feeling heard and my head held high. Their office staff is extremely kind and are very thorough and prompt with responses. They never make me feel like I’m being talked down to in a patronizing customer service tone - nothing but mutual respect. Overall I have had nothing but an incredible experience in this office and couldn’t recommend them more highly, especially for those who struggle with eating disorders, OCD, and C-PTSD.

  I have been seeing Dr. Zehring for more than 6 months. He has been caring, knowledgeable, thorough, but most importantly he has seen me for the person I am. He has given me so much hope and he always says he will not give up on me. I was referred to him due to his expertise in treating patients with eating disorders. I am so glad I was sent to him!

  Dr. Zehring and his staff have changed our lives. He has been my son's and my doctor for years now and we are forever grateful for his expertise, "bedside manner" and genuine heart for his patient. I never feel rushed and he is consistently purposeful in his guidance and treatment. I would recommend him, as well as Sheila Rud-Wilkins, 100 times over for individuals and families!

  Dr. Zehring views my daughter as more than just a patient, he sees her as a person. He genuinely cares and his compassion has been a comfort during this process of healing. You will be treated well at AZRP. Glad to have found them!
