Maj's Salon

Maj absolutely transformed my hair!! I had a very bad experience at a different salon and came to her to correct my haircut and color. She’s extremely knowledgeable and took the time to show me what was wrong with my color and what she would do to fix it. Maj is also very open and up front about the cost of her services and gave me an estimate before she began so there wouldn’t be any surprises at the register. Everyone at this salon seems like they enjoy what they are doing and I can tell it is very important to Maj that you are treated like family and with respect. I found my new salon and I look forward to going back!

BRUH.
I had an absolute hair emergency. Made a stupid decision that my gut told me not to do but my impulsiveness made me. Desperately googled salons for the next day and booked an appointment here just hoping someone could help me before a big event the day after. I had precious little time and my hair was humiliating. I booked online at Maj’s at almost midnight. I got a call the next morning from Kristen wanting clarification and she explained she could see what she could do but being the short time frame and the amount of time my hair might need it might be tricky. I was desperate and she reassured me, telling me to just come in and we could at least look. Maybe there was a quick fix that would at least get me through my next day event without looking like a clown.
I got there and the energy was warm and inviting. Kristen immediately made me feel comfortable as I struggled with the humiliation of taking off my hat and showing my handy work. She empathized with me, made a game plan and went to work.
I didn’t think what she did was possible. It’s magic and I’m in love with now and she’s forever my girl. I’ll never let another touch my hair. SLAY QUEEN.
A literal miracle. Now I can be the boss babe I am with confidence and power.

This was my first visit to this salon and I am so happy I with everything! Melissa did my highlights & cut/trim, she was amazing. Highlights turned out really pretty and look so natural. No demarcation lines or chunks of streaking, I love it! I also met Maj and she is awesome! Both Maj and Melissa are so sweet and welcoming. It feels more like hanging out with friends while getting your hair done, than going to a stuffy, awkward salon appointment. I have my next service scheduled and cannot wait to go back!

I went to Maj’a Salon for my first time yesterday to get some highlights, trim and just brighten up my hair. I went in completely clueless, only having learned the different types of highlights that morning. I’m also expecting my 3rd baby (first boy) and wanted to look and feel fresh for our big day! Melissa took care of me and was absolutely amazing. She welcomed me right in, caught my vibe and had a beautiful vision for my hair! She gave me a free consult including two options for pricing before I made the decision to let her work her magic. I am beyond happy with it and have already received many awesome compliments! I wanted to also add that since I am pregnant, Melissa went above and beyond to make my visit as comfortable as possible. I had a place for my belongings, she offered me bottled water (which I politely declined as I had bright my own as usual), she even gave me a foot stool to elevate my legs while my head was under the sink. (Which helped so much). Again, I don’t think I could be more happy with this service. Thanks again!!

I cannot recommend Maj enough! She truly transformed my hair. I walked in with a terrible hair coloring (at least 4 different colors in my hair) and a botched haircut. Maj didn’t even blink an eye. She did a full assessment and came up with a plan. Before she did anything though she explained what needed to be done, made sure I was okay with it and gave me an estimate so that I was comfortable with the cost. To say Maj worked a miracle is an understatement. My hair has never looked so good! Maj is a true angel. She just has the most beautiful spirit on top of being a fabulous hairstylist.
