I am so glad I hired Melissa for my doula! She went above and beyond our expectations. As first time parents both my husband and I were a bit timid about birth. Melissa gave us the tools to have confidence that we could have the birth we wanted. It was so amazing having Melissa in the room while in labor to help and coach us both. She also took some priceless photos of our little lady! Photos we will cherish forever! Thank you so much Melissa!

It was great having Melissa at my homebirh. She helped my midwife to coach me and assisted with my labor. She was always ready to refill my water, help me get a drink, grab me a cold compress while I was in the tub, etc. I had back labor and needed counterpressure through every contraction, so Melissa gave my partner breaks to help me with this. Melissa was very encouraging throughout the birthing process, and whenever I looked over at her she would give me a little smile, which was reassuring to me, because it reminded me that this is normal and that I am made for this. I’m sure my midwife would agree Melissa was an awesome person to have at a birth. She was happy to assist with anything we needed throughout the process, which helped everything go smoothly. And in the end, I had beautiful pictures of this life-changing day. Melissa got some really amazing shots of me laboring in various places and positions with my support team at my side. She also got some really cute ones of my doggie doula 🐾🙂. It was awesome to look back to photos that show so much love and care from the people who helped me through my labor, especially my partner. He was there every step of the way—following me all over the house to support me and give me counterpressure, getting in and out of the shower with me, getting in and out of the birth tub with me, cutting the cord—and Melissa captured this in these images. I would highly recommend inviting Melissa to your birth!
