Lighthouse Psychiatry Brain Health Center

To begin, I’m diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder II and Depression. Throughout the years, I have been to many different psychiatrists. I tend to stay with my current provider for as long as possible, for fear of having to explain my circumstances again or start all over in terms of my treatment. After being a patient of my previous psychiatrist for a little over two years, I decided that it was time to find another. I started to feel like just a number to my psychiatrist, and no longer a human being. This prompted me to search for someone and somewhere new. I came across Lighthouse Psychiatry via Google and I was impressed by the many positive reviews, and decided to try them out. I can honestly say that my very first interaction with this office was exceptional. The support staff are sympathetic, professional, and responsive. I was soon scheduled to meet with Dr. Kelly Huffaker, and after my first appointment with her ended, I felt like I was actually being heard, able to express my concerns with no judgment, and expressed a sensation that I have never felt with a psychiatrist before: relief. If you’re searching for a psychiatric office that will make you feel truly helped and relieved, then I would highly recommend Lighthouse Psychiatry.

The staff was very friendly! We didn’t have to wait long at all for our appointment. My daughter felt very safe and “at home” while visiting with the Doctor. She was very gentle, kind and understanding, she also validated all of my concerns and came up with a treatment plan and put it to action that day, I was very impressed. It’s a very peaceful environment definitely a safe space. Highly recommend.

This group has been great! Two members of my family see various providers at this location and we have been pleased with all of them. Check in and office procedures have been easy and medication refills are done via email. I recommend this place to other families in similar situations to ours. Thank you!

I’ve been receiving care at Lighthouse since around August and I am so happy to have finally found a provider that takes me seriously. Miro is amazing and really takes the time listening to me and making sure we’re both on the same page when it comes to my care. The staff at the front are also kind and accommodating. I cannot recommend this office enough.

I’ve been very happy with my experience thus far with scheduling and interactions with the staff and docs. The facility is lovely and comfortable. The only thing I don’t like is having to email for medication concerns. I’d rather have direct access to the doc for those but so far it hasn’t been a huge issue.
