Black Bear Diner Glendale

The wait was expected on a Saturday morning because the food is great! Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were huge. The tasty bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. The sausage had an incredible flavor with just a hint of heat. The fluffy Sweet Cream Pancakes lived up to their name and paired perfectly with their warm syrup. Even the scrambled eggs flavor was excellent, and I wasn't even charged for the added cheese! Speaking of charges, the prices were the lowest that I have seen since the pandemic. You will have to pay an additional $5-$10 more per plate in every other breakfast restaurant in town and not come near the quality and taste that you will find here!

Love coming here on the weekend. Friday is all you can eat fish fry friday. Their waffles are my favorite. The pies they sell here are amazing. I always ask my hash browns because otherwise, they are not really crunchy. The prices are great since they give you plenty of food for the price.

I love this restaurant, it's decor, and the warm feeling it brings especially during the holidays. I've eaten here a few times but first time at this location and the food, service, restaurant quality is always a great experience. Had The Grizz which came with two eggs, bacon and sausage and hame (2 slices each) but I always do their sausage because it's so good, links are huge! And I got six of them! Choice of fruit, grits, hash browns, or red potatoes (I always so has browns but red potatoes are good too! Also comes with 2 huge, soft cake-like sweet cream pancakes with a little powdered sugar, so warm, sweet, and delicious overall! Grandfather had the same with red potatoes and he loved it! We sat right down, service was really good. Our waitress consistently checked on us, and food came out so fast! One of the toilets were backed up in ladies room, and water overflowed but that stuff happens. They fixed and it very quickly and left the other stall open for use. $42 for coffee, iced tea, and our two meals and was well worth it! Highly recommend for a great breakfast at a great price!

I ordered their Thanksgiving dinner through door dash and is was wonderful! Thank you for being open and offering a very well rounded meal for those of us that do not have plans on this holiday. (The picture of the main meal is half eaten because it smelled and tasted so good I forgot to take a picture earlier.) Thank you!

Best diner ever. It's more like a restaurant than a diner. This one has the largest selection of menu items, with the largest portion sizes, for the lowest prices.

The jukebox with classic tunes is very nice, the log cabin decor is rustic and relaxing. The servers are nice. The gift shop with the various black bear items are great. We bought two bears already!

I'm coming back to this place again and again, not joking. It's like a buffet for the quantity, but lower than buffet prices.

Seriously, you have got to try this place. I've been very impressed upon each visit. The menu items in my attached photos are 15 bucks or less per entree. You will always need a to-go box.
