(September 25, 2018, 3:38 pm)This neighborhood hardware store used to be an ACE Hardware. It is now under new management, not an ACE franchise, and renamed. The people are knowledgeable and friendly and work hard to see that their customers are satisfied. They carry items by the piece, so that if you need six screws of a certain type, you needn't buy a package of 100.
The store is a small place that is packed with things you might not be able to get elsewhere, plus you are not inside for more than a few seconds when someone asks if they can help you. So different from Home Depot. there is plenty of free parking and it is easy in and easy out.
