Palm Valley Montessori

Our kid is a playful and “extra” active one so we were worried he’ll get bored in classes. On the contrary, he’s every day excited to go to school. He keeps mentioning how cool and awesome their activities are. He also brags about all these learning materials and visuals their teachers use. Thank you, Palm Valley Montessori, for making learning fun for my kid and for all the kids in Arizona.

Palm Valley Montessori has this program where they mix-up kids of different ages in a certain class for a certain period of time. I personally believe this is a brilliant idea. It teaches kids various perceptions. I also believe this played a great role in our child’s social skills improvement. The school, overall, has been a great learning environment for my kid and I will be forever grateful.

Education is never a waste of money, but we can confidently say that Palm Valley Montessori does give great value for money - down to the last cent of the miscellaneous fees. My daughter gets more passionate every day about her artwork. From scribbling to sketching to drawing - the school was a huge help in nurturing her talent. I personally applaud them for their commitment and dedication to helping every kid under their care.

Of course, as any parents would, we wanted our child to grow up smart and confident. So we were really careful when we chose which school to enroll him in. There sure are a lot of qualified educators in Arizona, but Palm Valley Montessori stood out because of the curriculum they use. They have these unique programs and impressive teaching methods. I’m personally amazed by their Suzuki Method.

I have had three children attend Palm Valley Montessori School -- my son went there from preschool to fourth grade, my daughter started as a 3-year-old and is in her last year at PVM, and my 4-year-old is in her second year of preschool. (We have a new baby, too, who will start in a couple more years!)

Since all of my children went to PVM for preschool, it was a seamless transition from preschool to kindergarten. They all have received an amazing education as a preschooler and I am thrilled that they can continue to learn and thrive in the same environment. When my son graduated from PVM, he was able to easily transition to a more traditional middle school environment because of his Montessori education.

The academic achievements of the students at PVM are exceptional. By kindergarten, both of my kids could read proficiently, write in cursive, and knew their multiplication and fractions. My children learn about other cultures, countries, and ideas. They get plenty of outdoor playtime and take music, Spanish, and chess lessons. They read classic literature and of all the children are encouraged to explore and discover more about whatever they are interested in. Their questions are answered, not hushed, and the school's focus on independent, self-motivated learning will carry them in good stead for the rest of their life. The Montessori Method of schooling encourages a life-long love of learning, which is lacking in so many schools today. I absolutely believe that the education my children receive at PVM will help them grow up to be responsible adults who are caring, well-educated, and productive members of their community.
