I can't say enough about what an outstanding home Crismon Peaks is for those who need assisted living. A close family member of mine lived here for over 2 years as he struggled with Parkinson's Disease and dementia. The entire staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable, but most importantly, they are kind, caring and compassionate. These qualities start at the top with owner/director Meryl. She loves her residents like they are family and cares for them as such, and that loving care fills the home. She is a hands-on owner, who is completely committed to provided excellent care to those who live there. I do not believe we could have found a better place for my family member for his final years. He felt safe and loved, and he was! Thank you so much to Meryl and the entire staff!

My family and I would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the care that our Mother received while at Crismon Peaks Assisted Living. Our Mother was treated with such care and concern, she wanted for nothing. I would visit almost daily at different times and staff would check on her frequently and ask if she wanted tea or a snack. She was kept immaculate and her hair was always done and her nails.

Recently I became critically ill and could no longer care for myself. I am now a happy member of the the Crismon Peaks household. I have always been treated with respect. The staff and I laugh together and enjoy one another. I require considerable medical care and the owner herself, Meryl Schmitz takes me to every appointment and stays by my side. She is supportive and under her care I have made remarkable strides in my health. My physical therapist was here and said that he has never seen such a fine facility as this. All I can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU Crismon Peaks!!!!

My Mom was a resident there for a number of years. She went from care all the way into hospice care there. We had nothing but good to share. Joe R. referenced in another review is a clear case of sour grapes. He maintains the residence in tip top shape and in having spent a lot of time there and in Joe's presence, I can tell you he was always a gentleman and very respectful of all residence, women and men. The help are there because they like and are good at what they do, and are care givers at heart. Mistreatment of ANYONE simply would not be tolerated. It is like a big family there. Please consider Crismon if you are looking for a home with dignity and love for a person needing assisted living.

I am a Certified Senior Advisor and a Senior Referral Specialist who’s job is to locate assisted living homes/facilities through out the entire valley for our aging seniors. Meryl at Crismon Peaks is one of the very best Assisted Living Homes in Mesa. The home is very aesthetically pleasing, but more important, Meryl the owner & her staff’s care of the residents is the standard others should meet. Her last two state surveys were deficiency free, which hardly ever happens. Meryl loves her residents and I would not have a question having my mother or father become residents with Meryl. The Care is exceptional and your loved one will be in safe hands.

My mother, Nell Evans, was a resident for nearly two years. Meryl Schmidt and her staff extended her life, and the quality of her life, through their extraordinary care. When she was hospitalized, someone from Crismon was always with her, even when family members were there. Mom was essentially blind and, in order to help her eat with dignity, they found special plates and utensils for her use. The residents are all required to eat together, not in their rooms, which helps keep them engaged and social. Mom liked the food, especially biscuits and gravy on Wednesday mornings. She did miss margaritas! It was a blessing to me, as the one primarily responsible for Mom's care, that she lived in a place where she was loved. And, she was. I would recommend Crismon Peaks Assisted Living to anyone seeking a place for a family member.
