In early February 2020, I was diagnosed with early stage Osteonecrosis (bone death) of the knee. My orthopedic surgeon discovered it in an MRI. His advice was to use crutches, and stay off the leg. He further added that the condition is rare, irreversible, and that I would likely need a knee replacement within 5 years. I started reading anything I could find about alternative therapies. One small study mentioned acupuncture. I started seeing Denise that same month (February), and went twice weekly until Covid shut everyone down. Once Denise was safely open again in the summer, I started going once per week. In March, my 2nd MRI showed improvement in the knee. My orthopedic surgeon told me to keep doing whatever it was I was doing. By October, my 3rd MRI showed that the Osteonecrosis was completely gone! I cannot thank Denise enough for her help in recovering from such horrendous knee pain. She is a talented and gentle acupuncturist, a wonderful listener, and is so incredibly knowledgeable about the application of acupuncture for many different health issues. She will also recommend supplements and lifestyle and dietary changes. Thank you again Denise! p.s. My Orthopedic Doctor is now recommending acupuncture as a possible therapy to his osteonecrosis patients!

Just finished my 4th appointment! I've been trying to deal with a recurring back injury for 6 years. On top of that, I have mild scoliosis which certainly doesn't help. No specialist I've seen has even come close to the type of treatment I've actually required. She takes the time to talk with you and find the pain before she even starts. I'm actually seeing and feeling results for the first time, and I have Denise alone to thank for that. She's very thorough throughout the entire visit, and goes above and beyond to help you long term, and eliminate the problems for good. The supplements she recommends are affordable, and work really well. On top of all of this, she's very sweet! I'm very fortunate to have been referred to her.
