Power Black Belt Academy

Over 11 years ago, I decided to give Taekwando a try. I am so happy to have begun my journey at Power Black Belt Academy under the superb leadership of Master Michael and Senior Master Susan McFarland. They are wonderful people who care deeply about their students.

As an adult student, my main goal is to stay in shape. There is no better training than sparing to work up a good sweat! I am proud to have achieved the rank of 2nd Degree Blackbelt.

I have seen kids grow in confidence as they advance through the ranks. Some have joined the leadership program and have gone on to be instructors. We have a District and even World Champions at Power Black Belt Academy. That is a huge achievement that can be accredited to a professional school.

My son has attended lessons since Dec 2018, I cannot express enough the benefits of attending and exceptional staff. I’ve seen growth in many life skill areas for my son from confidence to perseverance, while having fun and staying fit. I look forward to my son continuing for many years to come.

I am the mom of a special needs child. About 4 1/2 years ago our behavior therapist recommended Karate for our son. We looked around at several different places and finally found one that was willing to work with our son and his needs. It has been the best choice we made. There has been so much growth and development within our child that has made a world of difference. The staff is so helpful and able to talk to our son when something is difficult and help him understand what it is he needs to do. They are easy to talk to, helpful and willing to help make learning in their school the best it can be for every child. Definitely check this school out.

As the parent of a special needs child on the autism spectrum bringing are kids here over 4 years ago was one of the best decision my wife and I ever made. Our oldest has flourished in this school, the instructor's are outstanding, and dealing with his special needs. Both Masters see great things ahead for our kids.

Power Black belt academy and the McFarland's are absolutely amazing. I brought my daughter to their school almost 3 years ago to help with her ADHD and ODD. That was the best decision I ever made. The changes in my daughters behavior are dramatic and positive. I was so impressed I joined classes myself. They offer classes for all levels of physical activity. I have many friends with Autistic kids who bring them to Power Black belt and it's amazing the changes the kids made. My daughter will be 10 very soon and she will be getting her black belt in just a couple of weeks. The school has very strict safety policies to help keep all our kids safe and I really appreciate that.
