Desert Tortoise Campground

Beautiful views, close to the marina and water. But, many of the spots are not level from camping, and most people let their dogs run off leash. 5 stars views and water, 3 stars other campers and spots.

Just got back from my camping trip yesterday afternoon and it was one of my favorite experiences so far. The staff is really helpful; they provide all information you need, everything is explained to you clearly. It’s a clean and open campground. Not at all expensive or uncomfortable. And most importantly, it’s incredibly beautiful, spacious, and aromatic. Everyone was so friendly including fellow campers. The birds sang and chirped beautifully. I’ll definitely be coming here again

Great relaxing get away close to home. I stayed for 1 night and really enjoyed this camping area. The spots have shaded picnic tables, fire ring and area to pitch a tent all right next to the water. Clean restrooms too. This camping ground is gated and when you make and pay for reservations your given a gate entry code. This is a great as it keeps out random people from passing through. I'd definitely stay again.
