This park is just over the top ... there are at least three separate dog areas based on size . There are always so many dog playing at this park no matter when you visit. Well as long as the weather is nice of course.
It has always been a clean area with great grassy areas and plenty of dog bags to continue keeping it clean! The staff there is very friendly and so are the people that go there. I usually go very early in the mornings when it's cooler, but the atmosphere there is calm and collected.
Lots of dogs go here. The park its self is a really good size. Best time to go is around 8 cause it pretty bust so it's a great time to get your dog to burn off its energy.
This place is nice and spacious. There is a separate area for large and small dogs. There is a water fountain for both dogs and humans. There are doggy bags at the entrance of the dog park for your convience. My only complain about the dog park is the trees. There are plenty of small trees, but they provide no shade. The park is well kept. A couple of tables would be nice and some shade also.
Dog parks help pets socialize as well as providing exercise. Karla Towle/The Republic On Wednesday, July 23, Pitou, a Morkie, plays with Finette, a Yorkiepoo at the Pioneer Community Dog Park in Peoria.
