I highly recommend Canyon Midwifery, especially if you are wanting a safe, undisturbed, and unmedicated home birth!! I couldn’t have asked for a more incredible birth team and experience. Connie and Erin were amazing before, after, and during the birth of my baby. You can tell that they truly care about their patients and perform their work with passion and purpose. I loved that they utilize natural methods of care but also have medical training in case of an emergency situation. I felt comforted by the fact that they could come with me to the hospital in the event of a transfer. I also want to mention Becky was an incredible wealth of knowledge with the information she provided me with about breastfeeding. Jen was awesome and I very much appreciated her home visit afterwards to check on baby and I. Everything felt so natural and I felt confident in all of my decisions from beginning to end. They all have a very comforting presence and I did not experience any fear or worry even though it was my first pregnancy. I’m really happy I chose them to help me welcome my baby into the world, I will definitely be calling the them again if God gives us anymore! Thank you all so much again for being a part of our greatest blessing. Our little guy is happy, healthy, and thriving! ❤️

Connie, Erin, and her whole team were amazing from day one. I have CPTSD and I struggle with a lot because of it. They were extremely accommodating and empathetic. They asked for my consent for EVERYTHING and paid close attention to me to see if I started to struggle with procedures and with physical touch. They truly cared in a way I didn’t think was possible. They always gave me the entire hour for each appointment and I never felt rushed. Each appointment felt like a little therapy session and we got to bond which made me feel safer and more comfortable about my home birth with my first child. They took their time with my questions and were always genuine and sincere. They really go above and beyond in every way possible. I ended up hemorrhaging immediately after delivering my placenta and they handled it perfectly like the professionals they are and no hospital transfer was necessary. They feel like family to me and they will always be a special part of mine and my son’s life.

Connie & Erin provided the best care throughout my whole pregnancy. Our appointments were never rushed and she always took the time to answer all of our questions (First time mom here). She is very focused on safety and doing what is best for you and your baby. During delivery she was so supportive and I felt safe in her hands. She made me feel like family, I couldn't recommend a better care provider! Becky the LC was amazing as well and taught me/my husband so much which made us feel even more prepared bringing our baby boy home.

Canyon midwifery is amazing! I love Connie and Erin! They take such good care of their patients they really made me feel like family. They are so knowledgeable about each and every stage of pregnancy and birth they totally put you at ease with any questions you may have. They take time with you at every appointment and actually know their patients. It is so completely different than a regular OB who just skims your chart before going into your room to see you. Connie and Erin care about you and genuinely want the best for you and your family! I recommend them to all of my friends and family. You wont regret it, I promise!!!

I transferred care to Canyon Midwifery in my third trimester. I couldn’t have been in better hands for the birth of my first child! I never felt like another patient; the care I received was so personal. Connie, Erica, and Jen were absolutely wonderful to work with and made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the whole labor and delivery.
