Portions are huge!! Definitely wouldn’t have noticed this place if I hadn’t googled for a new sushi joint for my husband and I to try. Food was good and came out fast. The seafood ramen was great! House sake was pretty good too considering it was the house sake. Will definitely be coming back! Service was very friendly as well.
Easily the best sushi there is in the valley, no other place can even approach the flavor that these rolls have. I personally love the Forrest Gump roll which had a really great spicy sauce that had a wonderful flavor, instead of it being like other places that is a case of "it spicy because it make your mouth hurt". Word of warning, the pieces are *huge*, so maybe think twice before order another set of rolls if it's your first time.
I can second this review - This is absolutely my favorite sushi restaurant in town. We have been coming here for years and always very pleased with our experience. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. I always find myself ordering too much food. They also offer a variety of noodles, you can't go wrong with their yakisoba which typically comes with shrimp but you can substitute the shrimp for chicken if you are allergic to shellfish. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for good sushi that won't break the bank.
So, kind of conflicted.. The sushi tasted really great but the rolls were HUGE and falling apart, and it was very difficult to pick them up in one go. Typically sushi is considered small bite and its comfortable to eat in one bite but this sushi was easily needing to be cut in half... or if you attempted to eat in one bite then you kind of had to choke it down for some rolls. It seemed as though presentation was most important to this restaurant. Based on the sushi rolls being difficult to pick up and eat, not sure that we were too impressed and likely not to return. Rolls we tried from most liked to disliked were caterpillar, dancing eel, crazy and Alaska. Huge bonus was the Sapporo on draft.
I have never eaten here before only picked up deliveries!
When I tell you that EVERYONE makes one feel WELCOME… they made me feel so good! I will definitely try it now!
Thank you for being KIND HUMANS! :)
