I've purchased equipment from this company multiple times for our corporation. No issues with equipment and excellent account management.

Very cool place, bought a ton(literally) of my stuff. The people are clearly dedicated to getting things done. Will absolutely be back

I started buying from MHz back in 1980. Their merchandise is surplus, and salvage stuff, and is bought, literally by the ton. It is not gonna pretested, so if it's passive parts ask the sales people if you can pretest with your own test equipment before you buy. Be prepared to schmooze a little haggle a little, but most of all be prepared to know when to jump on a good deal, and know when to walk away from a questionable deal. Know where you are willing to draw the line on your tolerance, and be willing to lose. I have bought huge bags of junk from MHz or their competitors, and some of it was usable, just not for what I needed it for, and some of it was QC failure junk, sold off, because it was junk, and it is still junk. Then I decide whether or not to attempt to sort a batch of 5000 parts in hopes I can find 500 that are good, or cut my losses and dump them into a recycle bin. I have also bought thousands of dollars in parts and gear for 10s of dollars. This is the world of surplus and salvage. If you want guaranteed products, you will pay more. Ask, and say, "Hey, Mr, _______, if I give you and extra 10% or $100, or $1000, will you put a 5 or 10, or 90 day guaranty in writing on this thing?? I am still playing through guitars and amps with MHz stuff in them. I am still building guitar amps, hi fis, stereos, effects, mixers, speakers, guns, and other stuff with tools I bought at MHz. I had to rebuild on 1967 Gibson, because the switches were not high quality. I replaced them with new Augat Alcos. The cheap used MHz switches cost me less than $4.oo, but the Augats cost me over $96. The Augats have lasted since 1980, and show no signs of age. The little pliers have served me well for the past 37 years. WOW! Have I been building & fixing guitars & amps for 37 years??? MHz was there for a lot of it. The owner is a character, but respect what he does to amass a collection like that, and what he does to warehouse it, insure it, and keep track of it. He is a character, but he is good character. We all have days, people and events, that chip away at our congeniality, so if he is not smiling and being agreeable, please try to understand. Shoplifters, copper thieves, burglars, scammers, complainers, and jerks, all take their toll, and will even make Fred Rodgers, and The Good Humor Man surly on some days. Surplus electronics, like MHz has, is hard work. I used to see this guy all over the western United States bidding on 2 ton lots of surplus test gear, components and other stuff. Then he has to arrange for loading it, transporting it, unloading it, sorting it, warehousing it, and then reselling it. IT'S HARD WORK, and he takes some big risks with big money, too. I am glad MHz is open again.
