I was a service and parts advisor as well as a manager and also worked on older style vehicles so needless to say I'm not stupid. I am a woman and I called a couple shops and spoke with some old mechanic/Toyota service manager friend who advised the guys don't have the old school skills so I searched around. Husband has seen this shop while driving by for years so it was one of the places I called. I will say another did not give me a chance to speak and I said how much and he hesitated and said you have to bring in off vehicle and just said $250 like just picking a number. Gil who owns Arizona Carburetor has a great gal that answers the phone and helps him and she put him on line and I explained what it was I wanted and told him my diagnosis and history and he quoted a reasonably price with removing the carb and rebuilding and reinstalling. I can say that he is very good and trustworthy. Exact price quoted was what we were charged. He also does other automotive repairs. Not the prettiest place or location but it is well worth any drive and after being in the business for over 14 years and knowing longer how to actually work on cars is a testament to this man and his shop. Way to go Gil and in less than a half a day. By the way the 1986 Toyota p/u is up and running great again thanks to Gil.

I brought him my “Frankencarburetor” off my 53 Belair L6 (that I tried to rebuild). He showed me that the top didn’t match the base. He created the carburetor that I needed from his stock. The car finally drives correctly. It was a nice upgrade to a well functioning carburetor. He knows his stuff!

Rebuilt my carburetor on my 77 Buick regal. Runs like a champ.

True carburetor professionals. I have never written a review about anything before but they made my 1986 black Silverado run like new again, whithin 2 hours. The best and fastest deal in town.
