For me, Dr. Chris Wolter performed a urethroplasty procedure with a buccal mucosal graft to repair my bulbar stricture. The surgery was performed at the Mayo Clinic hospital in Phoenix on July 30, 2015. I spent one night in the hospital after the approximately three hour surgery. My Foley catheter was removed after three weeks on August 20, 2015. While on activity restrictions after catheter removal, I gradually increased my walking distances up to three miles. Three weeks later on September 10 2015, I am now beginning light workouts at our local YMCA.

My experience with Dr. Wolter was excellent, absolutely exceptional in every respect. My wife and I think that Dr. Wolter is the best urological surgeon in the Southwest, perhaps in the entire U.S. Our experience at Mayo was fantastic. The staff took really great care of us.
