I want to commend the staff on how exceptionally professional they were in providing final care to my wife's great grandfather. In such a difficult time they provided the most caring and supportive environment for our grandfather and family there to to support him. Thank you!

The care my mother-in-law received here was excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. She loved the garden outside the sliding doors of her room. We brought some yard decor metal sheep for her to look at out there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I do feel like the rooms could be updated...some of the wood flooring is chipping. Our room had a blackish stain on the floor. The furniture/chairs in the room seem kind of old. And the paintings could be brighter and more refreshed. Overall, it was a comfortable transition place from Mayo hospital to prepare to take her home to pass away. Thank you to all the staff for the kindness, sincerity, patience, and love.

If I were allowed to give 10 stars I would. My husband was transported to Sherman House from the Mayo. This may sound strange, but Sherman House was a relief from the Mayo. The entire family was warmly welcomed to spend as much time as possible with my husband. The facility is small and homey. He had a lovely room with a glass door looking onto a paved patio. One thing he asked was to have his little dog with him. They welcomed her as warmly as they welcomed us. My husband received more than excellent care from the staff. They were angels. Each and every one. They kept him clean, comfortable, satisfied , and happy. We could not have asked for anything more. When he passed we received hugs from all the staff and we're given all the time we needed to except his passing.
