  After some confusion regarding the terms of a free Original Grand Slam Bday breakfast, Denny’s hastily resolved the matter and worked diligently to ensure my satisfaction as a patron—despite the confusion more so on my end. Everyone at this location provided excellent service. The server I had did seem a little rushed and frazzled, although she was still polite and did her job well. I concluded, for myself, simply that she was most likely overwhelmed and feeling rushed. Everyone has an overwhelming or just “off” type of day. So that’s okay! I still had a great experience! I will still return and I’m very happy with the way Denny’s overall (this location and the phone customer service call receiver) handles a customer issue—even when I was only trying to redeem a free birthday Original Grand Slam. They more than made up for the confusion. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service and it REALLY matters to me that I am treated with kindness and respect, no matter how major or minor my issue. I left very happy! :) When I treat others with kindness, tolerance, patience, and respect (like I do with myself), it has proven time and time again to be reciprocated. This most recent visit to Denny’s was a perfect example of living my life like that.
