  Highly recommend Applied Hearing Solutions if you are struggling with your hearing or hearing aids. I went in with what turns out to be a minor hearing loss problem. All the same, the audiologists and staff at Applied Hearing Solutions are very professional and friendly to work with.
  
  Audiologists Dr. Olson and Dr. Cook listened to my issues, conducted a high quality hearing test, and recommended solutions. I appreciate Applied Hearing Solutions approach to hearing aids involving multiple visits to get things adjusted just right.
  
  I tried several kinds of hearing aids before settling on one I really like and I'm very pleased Applied Hearing Solutions is willing to take the time and let me experience what various manufacturers have to offer, instead of trying to push one brand they like and hoping for the best.
  
  Huge thank you to Dr. Cook and the team for helping maximize my hearing! I love my new hearing aids.

  The people at Applied Hearing Solutions were extremely friendly and professional right from the start of my experience with them. I was able to get in to the office quickly and they took care of my issue with the utmost efficiency. They listened to my concerns and explained everything that they were doing. I learned a lot while I was there and will continue to use them in the future.

  I have been a patient of Dr. Olson for nearly three years and happily drive an hour and a half one way to go see him. I found him through his informative YouTube videos after searching the internet for a good audiologist. Prior to finding Dr. Olson, I saw another hearing aid professional that I was not happy with. During the course of my first appointment with Dr. Olson, he tested the hearing aids that I had obtained from the first office I went to; the devices were not set up to my prescription and the silicone cones on the aids were way too large for my ear canal, which was causing me pain. Dr. Olson was very patient, he explained real ear measurements and answered all of my questions. He adjusted my devices to my prescription and changed the cones as well which changed my life; I was able to wear my aids from morning until bedtime since I no longer had to remove them multiple times due to them being uncomfortable. I did end up purchasing devices from Dr. Olson and I could not be happier; well worth the investment. Dr. Olson changed my life! Seriously, go see him!

  I have had job related hearing loss for years that required waivers to perform certain jobs. Hearing tests over the years stated that hearing aids would not help. 12 years ago on the advice of my primary care physician (PCP) I saw an audiologist and found that newer hearing aid technology could help. The improvement was moderate but the sounds were tinny and I didn't wear them very often. Finally, after constant pressure from my wife and consultation with my PCP, I went to see Dr. Altus at Applied Hearing Solutions. The range of hearing tests administered by Dr. Altus went way beyond any previous tests. The tests focused on hearing and understanding. Frequency loss, volume, and understanding of words and letters were tested. With the help of computer tools he was able to thoroughly analyze my hearing deficiencies and provide a solid recommendation for hearing aids. My previous experience with hearing aids was an exam followed by a fitting and then return every six months for an adjustment. With Dr. Altus the first appointment started with a consultation that, included my wife. The focus of the consultation was on the day to day activities where I struggled to hear and understand and which of those activities were most important for me to be able to hear and understand. That was followed by a comprehensive hearing exam, an assessment and explanation of my hearing issues, a recommendation and an explanation of the program options and warranties if I decided to purchase new hearing aids. After selecting the hearing aids the devices are ordered, a fitting appointment is scheduled. The services by Applied Hearing Solutions does not stop there. Three follow up adjustment appointments are scheduled, each two weeks apart. Dr. Altus asked that after each appointment, my wife and I keep notes on any problems -- fitting issues, hearing issues, device issues, connectivity issues to cell phones, computers, etc. These issues are addressed at the next appointment, or sooner, if warranted. Dr. Altus seems genuinely concerned about the patient and eager to help improve the patients quality of hearing. The front office staff are friendly, courteous and efficient.

  Received the best, most thorough exam I've ever had for my hearing loss.
  First time an audiologist has really listened to my difficulties and frustrations for hearing loss. Found a great solution that has made it so much better to hear and communicate in almost any situations.
