Kavasutra Kava Bar Phoenix

Josh (cheech), the manager, is the best pour in the house. Too bad he's not running the bar. He goes lite on the ice (iced tea) so it's not all watered down and actually tops off the drink! The girls have an aversion to this for some reason. Can we keep Josh running the bar??!!!

I come in around lunch time every day, and grab about 3-4 kratom teas and it's always a joy to be there. From the atmosphere to the other customers to the kava tenders it's a nice friendly environment especially for POC like me. :3 I love that they're within walking distance from my house. I'll always be a regular customer of kavasutra. ❤️🙌🏾

Great atmosphere, great bar tender who’s very friendly and explained everything to us newbies. We had the strong Kava one, Punch in the face. As a sober person of 3.5 yrs, I was a little taken back by the body high and will likely do a less strong dose next time but the body high wore off in about an hour. Very relaxing, definitely eased the anxiety and tension of our party who were mourning the 5th anniversary loss of a loved one. We enjoyed the experience and atmosphere.

This place is so freaking great! Especially Billy our bartender!!!! We had never been before and he made sure we got exactly what we didn't know we wanted! Such an amazing time! Will definitely come back and see what Billys master mind suggests we try next!!!!

Went on a Monday afternoon and was almost empty. Obviously one of their slowest times of the week :-). Great experience though, the bartender was very well informed as I peppered her with countless questions and asked for her recommendations for a first timer. Would definitely look to go back and enjoy a cup with my wife one evening. Worth dropping in for a new experience, especially if you’re over alcohol use like I am.
