I graduated this High School, back in the 90's. I have great memories of the teachers, the theater and music department. This is a wonderful school. Be proud to be a, "Husky", when attending this school.
I am currently a sophomore in Horizon and I LOVE this school! The teachers and staff are really nice and super helpful. I love going here it is a very good school.
I am currently a junior at HHS. I love this school so much. The staff can be tough on us sometimes, but it's because they believe in us. I highly recommend this school. You don't see a lot of high schools that the staff actually care and believe in their students. We as students are always there for each other. What we have at Horizon High School is called a family.
Do not ever take yearbook, you will regret it greatly. I was part of the yearbook staff for a year, according to a friend I have that took yearbook again this year, barely anyone returned and for good reason. Great school nonetheless.
Horizon HS is a wonderful place for teens to learn and grow into fine young adults. The staff cares about the students and encourages them to achieve their fullest potential. I have 4 children who are responsible, respectable young adults that graduated from there. They were involved in something, which is the key to being successful in any endeavor. You reap the benefits from the effort you put into it. Join a club, activity or sport...something that matters. Find your niche and enjoy the ride!

Horizon High School needs a makeover from top to bottom. The administration needs to take a serious look in the mirror. They need to step up and fix the drug problem, the behavior of it' students, and the poor quality of instruction and leadership.
I loved Horizon High School. My oldest Daughter graduated in 2013 and has graduated from Vassar College in New York. My Son graduated in 2015 and is Horizon is a good school overall. I think that the kids could be a lot nicer, since I am a student there and I get bullied and teased almost every day.
