(August 26, 2019, 11:10 pm)They are also open for breakfast and serve brunch on the weekends. The staff wears button down shirts, suspenders and leather boots to reflect the times. For decor, there are old distillery bottle all around the restaurant that plays off the lighting that comes in to create an ambiance feel of the Old West.

(August 25, 2019, 7:24 am)We’re staying at the Phoenician for the weekend. Because we are titanium elite with Marriott, breakfast is included. Normally it’s a specific dish included, but they let you use the value of the dish as a credit towards ordering other choices. Our server, Christian, was on point- charming and attentive (even making our daughter laugh). Looking forward to going back tomorrow.

(August 23, 2019, 9:51 pm)I enjoyed meeting up with a couple of friends here. Mowry & Cotton opened up at The Phoenician in 2007. It is named after two businessmen (George Mowry and James Cotton) who came to Phoenix in 1872 and opened the first fine liquor establishment in downtown Phoenix. They were trying to create more of a community feel instead of the typical saloons that were around.

(August 21, 2019, 11:27 am)Located inside the man Phoenician building just two floors down. Mowry & Cotton is a hidden GEM in the Phoenix area.
With several menu items that are sure to delight the palette you will be pleasantly surprised by your dining experience. The staff is phenomenal and happy to serve. We, were even lucky enough (probably because we all ordered something different to taste) to have the chef come to our table and ask us about our meal. That was an absolute delight in of itself.
Check this place out on your next free weekend and you will be pining for more.
Oh, try the Lamb Tacos appetizer. It was our favorite. -

(July 19, 2019, 1:48 am)Chef Tandy's menu puts together some amazing flavors, and has obviously invested the time to develop them. We are regular visitors even just for lunch. The only time we ever had a complaint, they comped our whole meal! Talk about class, and every bit as delicious as the upstairs steakhouse.
