My husband and I looked at more than 15 assisted living homes in the area, and after much deliberation, we narrowed it down to two. Our ultimate choice was Kit's House for a number of reasons. As a healthcare professional, I have worked in a number of different settings for over 40 years. Providing services for the geriatric population requires an abundance of spirit and positive energy. You can feel this from the staff at Kit's House; they are efficient, attentive, warm, and competent. The house is beautiful and spacious, with bright windowed rooms, and a beautiful Koi fishpond in the backyard. Home cooked meals are prepared three times daily. Caregivers are in attendance day and night, and nursing services available if needed. We could not be happier with the care my mom is getting and the peace of mind we have knowing that she is in a place where she is safe, well-liked, and nurtured.
