I dont really have a problem with the location itself. Its an amazing store, with great stock, ran by nice ladies, which all contribute to a good cause.

Very nice clothing selection, beautiful jewelry case, a vast selection of books, and they get some really cool items in their arts/crafts area.

But in my own personal experience, I sometimes haven't been openly welcomed here. I always come in with my mom (who dresses normal), but I stray a little bit more on the "edgy" goth/punk side of clothing.

I'll greet the ladies when we come in, I'll smile wide and listen to their stories, and yet they still make comments to me about how they think I'm a delinquent or outcast from society, or tell me to do something more with my life (making the wrong assumption that I'm not driven by goals and dreams... They dont even care to ask me about it prior to saying these things).

They'll only speak to my mother, and sometimes if i approach them, attempting to join the conversation; they'll leave as if they're afraid of me- or perhaps even disgusted by my presence.... When all I'm doing is wearing a little bit more black coordinated into my outfits than the average person.

In that regard, I'd say the customer service is poor. But i suppose irrational judgement is to be expected when you're an expressive young adult entering a primarily elderly atmosphere.

The Sun Health Resale Store has nice gently used items. They also have great sales!

Went in looking for a piece of furniture I can use to store kitchen appliances. Didn't find anything, but I did get a lampshade, gravy boat and bedside lamp. All in great condition, and reasonably priced.

This little thrift store is a gem! Clean and attractive store. Very good quality used merchandise, reasonable prices, and regular sales/specials! The ladies are hard-working, friendly and so helpful. I look forward to doing more shopping here!
