Price-101 Freeway/Apache Blvd Park & Ride

Always ample free parking.

Convenient place to go park your car to take the lightrail to either class or work. If you're an ASU student, don't pay for the $700/semester ASU parking pass when you can just drive to one of the park and rides in the area and take the cheap lightrail to campus. It will save you tons of money.

This is one of the better Park & Ride lots along the METRO rail line. Very large lot that doesn't ever run out of spaces that I've seen. Lots of shade and seating for people waiting to be picked up. This lot also has extra fare vending machines for large crowds so there is less of a wait to purchase a pass. Very easy access right off the Loop 101 Freeway and only 40 minutes to Downtown Phoenix or 30 minutes to Sky Harbor. Lot and station are always very clean here. Much better overall than the end of the line lots.

I love the Phoenix light rail. It'd be cool if it were faster and covered more of the Valley. However, as an option to visit certain parts of downtown Phoenix - and thus avoid the parking nightmare that area of the city can be - it is a convenient choice. The trains themselves are kept clean and I have yet to run into an issue with other customers. I can't wait for further light rail expansion.
